INDIANAPOLIS – Hubert V. Garland, age 71 of Fortville, passed away April 10, 2013 at Community North Hospital. Born on September 22, 1941 in Missouri, he was the son of Lester and Aline (Coffman) Garland. He graduated from Pendleton High School in 1960. He married Judy K. Campton on June 7, 1964 in McCordsville. Hubert worked for Brookside Corporation in McCordsville for 34 years, and he was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Surviving him are his wife, Judy K. Garland of Fortville; sons, David A. Garland of Fortville, James “Randy” Garland of Indianapolis, Timothy A. (Ashley) Garland of Plainfield, Daniel W. Garland of Fortville; sister, Imogene Mabrey of Pendleton; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and several aunts and uncles. Preceding him in death were his parents. Visitation will be on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Fortville. Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 13, 2013 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Pastor Conrad Westbrook will be officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 1610 S.
