GREENFIELD – John Floyd Stiverson, age 60, of Greenfield, Indiana passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013. He was born on May 12, 1953 in Celina, Ohio, the son of Fay and Alberta (Hoel) Stiverson. John received his Bachelor’s Degree from Bethel College. He married Angela (Huettl) Stiverson on May 12, 2012 at St. James Lutheran in Greenfield. He owned his own business in plastics. John was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Society of Plastics Engineers, and the NRA. He is survived by his loving wife, Angela; brothers, Edson (Dolores) Stiverson and Cecil (Karla) Stiverson; sister, Dawn (Ray) Yates; nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his first wife, Gail; and father, Fay. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Greenfield. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, 1741 S State St. Greenfield, IN 46140, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Pastor Larry Gember will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the John Stiverson Memorial Library at St. James Lutheran Church, 1741 S State St. Greenfield, IN 46140.
