GREENFIELD – David L. Rohrman, age 84, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis. He was born on May 14, 1930 in Greenfield as the son of Bertha J. (Reames) Rohrman. He graduated from Greenfield High School in 1948. He attended Wabash College. He served in the Army during the Korean War in 1951-1953. David married Marilyn M. (Whittington) on January 19, 1951 in Fountaintown, IN. He worked for GM Guide Lamp in Anderson as a tool die maker for 28 ½ years before retiring in 1992. Dave was a member of Lions Club and Trinity Park United Methodist Church. He was also an avid IU and Colts fan. Dave is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn; two daughters, Paula E. (David) Hudson of Greenfield and Pam D. (Dale) Brackin of Indianapolis; two sons, Jeffery D. Rohrman and Joe T. (Kim) Rohrman both of Indianapolis; six grandchildren, David, Denise, Alan, J.D., Justin, and Kaylee; four great-grandchildren, Shelbie, Madysen, Jacob, and Seth. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertha J. (Reames) Rohrman. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. with viewing one hour prior to the service at Trinity Park United Methodist Church, 207 West Park Avenue, Greenfield, IN 46140. Reverend Mike Manning will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
