GREENFEILD – Sui Zhen (Huang) Wu, age 85, of Greenfield, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Hancock Regional Hospice. She was born on March 14, 1930 in Foshan, China as the daughter of Zhou and Hui Qing (Zhong) Huang. She received her Bachelor’s degree from a university in China. Sui married Xiong Jun Wu. She worked for many years as a High School Math Teacher in China before moving to the United States in 1985. In the past, Sui enjoyed ballroom dancing. She loved collecting family pictures and traveling. She also practiced tai chi for 30 years. Sui is survived by her children, Huan-Ping “Ping” (Kiwah) Wu of Granger, Huan Zhang “John” (SuXing) Wu of Greenfield, and Kay (Rui) Wu of Greenfield; and six grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, Zhou and Hui Qing (Zhong) Huang; and husband, Xiong Jun Wu. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015, at 12:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140 with viewing one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent directly to Hancock Regional Hospital Foundation, Attn: Hospice, 801 N State St, Greenfield, IN 46140 or Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation – Greenfield, 200 Green Meadows Drive, Greenfield, IN 46140.
