RUSHVILLE – Leona M. (Hamilton) Kelley, age 82, of Rushville, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015. She was born on August 12, 1933 in Cromwell, MN as the daughter of Harold and Gertrude (Carlson) Hamilton. Leona married Edgar L. Kelley on December 25, 1975 in Knightstown. Leona worked for RCA as an assembler for many years and she was also a housewife. She was a member of the Shelbyville American Legion Auxiliary. Leona is survived by her sons, Rick (Mariann) Ricketts of Greenfield, Chuck (Sammie) Eddleman of Evant, TX, and Bob Martin of Bloomington, IN; brother, Stacey Hamilton of Alabama; sisters, Gloria Morris of Texas and Julia Young of Missouri; four grandchildren, Nathan, Michael, Chris, and Rob; great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Claire, Kage, Kora, and Davian. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Gertrude Hamilton; husband, Edgar L. Kelley; and brother, Nathan Hamilton. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Park Cemetery, 621 South State Street, Greenfield, IN, 46140. Chaplain Russ Jarvis will be officiating.
