GREENFIELD – Patsy Joann (Martin) Davis, age 81, of Greenfield, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Community Hospital North. She was born on November 26, 1933 in Gordon County, GA as the daughter of William L. Martin and Mabel (Taylor) Martin Davis. She married Robert J. Davis, Sr. on December 31, 1952 in Chatsworth, GA. She worked for Greenfield Central High School for 10 years before retiring. Mrs. Davis was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Cumberland Ward. Patsy is survived by her husband, Robert J. Davis, Sr. of Greenfield; children, Robert J. (Mary A.) Davis, Jr., Brenda (William) Blanton and Vickie Langenberger all of Greenfield; five grandchildren, Joyce Mae (Steve) Potasnick of Williston, ND, Jason Tyler (Andrea) Riley of Morristown, Sara Arlene Langenberger of Greenfield, Craig Blanton and Scott Blanton both of Fortville; and two great-grandchildren, Tyler Riley and Skyler Riley both of Morristown. She was preceded in death by her parents, William L. Martin and Mabel (Taylor) Martin Davis and infant brother, William Martin. A private graveside service will take place at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
