GREENFIELD – Ray A. “Bub” Sirosky, age 56, of Greenfield, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2012. Born on August 20, 1956, in Greenfield, he was the son of Raymond J. and Marilyn S. (Gribbons) Sirosky. Bub graduated from Greenfield High School in 1974 and worked for Sirosky Electric Company as a heat and air mechanic for many years. He was also a member of the board at the Hancock Count Hope House, a former member of the Greenfield Jaycee’s, and was a member at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. He did volunteer work at the Hope House and was a lifetime IU fan. Additionally, he loved cooking, playing cards, family gatherings, and spending time with his grandchildren. He always gave a helping hand to anyone in need.
Surviving him are his parents; children, Mary Helsley of Greenfield, Tony Sirosky of Greenfield, Andy (Elizabeth Pfeiffer) Sirosky of Greenfield, and Jared Sirosky of McCordsville; brother, Bernie Sirosky; sisters, Jonna (George) Kiesel of Florida, Patty Sirosky of Greenfield, Sue (Rod) Caudill of Elizabethtown, and Beth Burgess of Zionsville; and grandchildren, Hunter, Allison, Alex, Ritchey, Garrett, Andrew, Lane, Nick, and Jameson.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 25, 2012, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield with a rosary service starting at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, October 26, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Greenfield. Burial will take place at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
