GREENFIELD – Elizabeth “Lybbe” A. (Study) Ward, age 45, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born on September 3, 1969 in Richmond as the daughter of Robert and Ruth (Sieb) Study. She graduated from Centerville High School in 1988 and received her bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1994. She married Warren Ward on June 3, 1995. Lybbe worked for Elanco and Eli Lilly & Co for 25 years, she most recently worked as a Senior Associate. She was a member of Park Chapel Christian Church where she volunteered in the nursery. She also volunteered with the Hancock County Food Pantry and the Kenneth Butler Memorial Soup Kitchen. Lybbe participated with F.U.S.E., helped with Big Brothers and Big Sisters and was involved with Boy Scout Troop #243. She loved reading, her church and spending time with her son and family. She is survived by her husband, Warren Ward of Greenfield; son, Adam Ward of Greenfield; mother and step-father; Ruth and Jack Study of Dublin; and siblings, Cathleen (Steven) Becker of Mooreland, Clifford (Laura) Study of Centerville, David (Kimberlee) Study of Huger South Carolina, and Debra (John) Winchester of The Villages Florida. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Study. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. also at the mortuary. Pastor David Woods will be officiating. Committal Services will follow the service at 3:30 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville.
