GREENFIELD – Ethel M. (Snyder) Hutton, age 94, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born on February 28, 1921 in Indianapolis as the daughter of Adam and Lucinda (Dietrich) Snyder. She graduated from New Palestine High School. Ethel married Max H. Hutton on October 12, 1938 in Pendleton, IN. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Hutton was a member of Philadelphia United Methodist Church and the New Palestine Eastern Star. Ethel is survived by her four sons, Gary Hutton, Ben Hutton, and Tony Hutton, all of Greenfield, and Tracy Hutton of Indianapolis; two daughters, Maxine Wright of Beaumont, TX and Betty Perdunn of Greenfield; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Lucinda (Dietrich) Snyder; husband, Max H. Hutton; and brother, Edward Snyder. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. also at the mortuary. Reverend Janet Tierbert will be officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Greenfield.
