CARMEL – “Candy” Thelma Marie (Albea) Jenkins, age 54, of Carmel, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Methodist Hospital. She was born on July 16, 1961 in Greenfield as the daughter of Charles H. and Mildred M. (Clay) Albea. She graduated from Greenfield Central High School in 1979. Candy married Rick Allen Jenkins on August 24, 1989 in Springfield, TN. She was a homemaker and very passionate about her family and cooking. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Candy is survived by her husband, Rick A. Jenkins of Carmel; daughters, Alisa M. (Kevin B. Chobot) Bowman of Sheridan, IN and Leah N. Bowman of Anderson; the awesome son/grandson, Keegan Lewis; parents, Charles H. and Mildred M. (Clay) Albea; grandchildren, Alex and Dylan; brother, Charles L. (Rose L.) Albea of Anderson; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., also at the mortuary. Pastor Chris Coomer will be officiating. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Centerville, IN.
