GREENFIELD- Barbara Jean Muegge, age 78, of Greenfield, passed away on October 5, 2012, in Indianapolis. Born on July 3, 1934, in Greenfield, she was the daughter of Robert and Katheryn (Eggleston) Dailey. Barbara graduated from Greenfield High School in 1952 and married Richard “Dick” Muegge on July 25, 1953. She worked for various companies as a bookkeeper and most recently worked with Kemper CPA. Barbara loved reading, puzzles, writing stories, painting, needlework, and astrology.
Surviving her are her son, Mark Alan Muegge of Fort Stockton, Texas; daughter, Terry Kay Muegge-Siegel of Castleton; granddaughters, Hannah and Allison Siegel; and one great-grandson, Cameron Siegel. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; and brother, Robert “Sonny” Dailey.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, October 11, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
